Anthony Leo Ryan is the creator of Mystery Files: The Curious Cases of Detective Brayden—a series built on one simple belief:
Stories should do more than entertain.
They should help shape who we become.
Inspired by the kind of imagination, curiosity, and values that defined his own childhood, Anthony set out to create a series that gives kids more than just something to read—
it gives them something to step into.
Through the world of Willow Creek, he brings young readers into real adventures where they must think critically, follow clues, and face meaningful choices—all while building confidence, character, and a love for reading.
But at its core, Mystery Files was created to bring families together.
By introducing the Junior Detective & Chief Inspector dynamic, Anthony designed each story to be a shared experience—one where parents and children can solve mysteries side-by-side, ask questions, and grow together.
